ABOUT
WHO WE ARE
We are Faith & Fitness BCS, where we are dedicated to sharing the love of God through promoting the importance of fitness, nutrition, and overall health! Our goal is to lead people to Christ through authentic community, worship, and service. Our passion is fitness, but our mission is to make disciples.

WHAT WE DO
Faith & Fitness holds events in the Bryan-College Station community, hosted by multiple local gyms. At Faith & Fitness BCS, we believe that God gave us a physical body, created in His image, and has given us the opportunity to steward it well. By encouraging the significance of our physical health, our goal is to grow mentally and spiritually as well.
Our events are designed to cater to all fitness levels, providing guidance from coaches, encouragement from friends, and resources to help you learn more about who God is and who He created you to be. Through group workouts, community support, and other local events, we strive to create a biblical approach to fitness that honors God and encourages the health of our body, mind, and spirit. Join us at our local events, growing stronger in faith, and glorifying God through the blessing of fitness.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
What is the gospel?
God created everything on earth to be good (Genesis 1&2), but because of our human nature to desire the position of God for our own lives, humans were deceived by the temptation of sin, and created a barrier between God’s perfect holiness and our lack thereof. The sin and evil that was brought into the world by humans continuously demonstrates how much more we need to be saved from it. Because of His holiness, there is now a separation between His creation.

But, because of His infinite, unconditional love, God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to humble Himself as a man, to live a perfect life free from sin, die the death we deserve, and rose again on the third day, conquering death and sin so that we may once again be in relationship with God our Creator. Because of His grace, we now can accept His free gift of salvation, not because of anything we did to deserve it, but because of everything Jesus did, to the glory of God the Father.

"But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Ephesians 2:4-10
"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."
Romans 3:23-24

"In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father."
Philippians 2:5-11

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Hebrews 12:1-2

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:16
